Wollemi Wilderness National Park was recently listed on the World Heritage
Register because it's an area of our planet that hasn't changed since
the last ice age. Here you can sit back and look out over thousands
of hectares of prehistoric land and your only neighbours are Australia's
prehistoric fauna and flora.
Wollemi Wilderness Cabin and House are places for people who want to glimpse
the simple life of our forebears: of waking to the Currawong's singing
up the sun; of stoking the fire then stretching out for a rest on the
verandah in the weekend sun to watch the echidnas and lyrebirds go about
their business. And finally to laugh with the kookaburras as the sun sets
on another day in the lucky country.
