Bowen’s Creek Walk

Bilpin Accommodation ::: Wilderness Cabins Blue Mountains(return approx. 1hr from Dream Cabin, Love Studio and Love Tee Pee – 90min from Wollemi House).

On this walk you will drop about 250m down below the ridge to explore the pristine Bowen’s Creek area of the property. The beginning of the track is sign-posted from the end of the main driveway (next to Dream Cabin). Following this will lead you down to a fire-trail that continues all the way to the creek. Bilpin Accommodation ::: Wilderness Cabins Blue MountainsBowen’s Gorge Lookout

(approx. 10min return from Dream Cabin, Love Studio and Love Tee Pee – 30min from Wollemi House),

One of the best and most easily accessable lookouts over the gorge is only a short walk from Dream Cabin, Love Studio and Love Tee Pee. Head along the creek track (marked with a sign post next to Dream Cabin) and look for a path cut into the scrub on the left hand side. This is immediately below Dream Cabin so don’t go too far down the hill. More info >

Lyrebird Gully Lookout

Bilpin Accommodation ::: Wilderness Cabins Blue Mountains(approx. 30min return from Dream Cabin, Love Studio and Love Tee Pee – 5min from Wollemi House).

Directly below Wollemi House there is a beautiful hanging swamp with stunning views over the steep junction of Lyrebird Gully and Bowen’s Creek. Walking from Dream Cabin, Love Studio and Love Tee Pee it is easiest to continue back up the sealed section of driveway. A couple of hundred metres on the left a fire-trail peels off and heads through the bush. More info >

Lyrebird Gully Walk

Bilpin Accommodation ::: Wilderness Cabins Blue Mountains(return approx. 2hrs from Wollemi House – 2.5 hrs from Dream Cabin, Love Studio and Love Tee Pee).

A longer walk begins from the top of Wollemi House driveway. Look for the stock pile of building material just off the main road and walk down a firetrail, passing a small shed. Immediatelly on your right a firetrail heads off through thick bush towards the upper section of Lyrebird Gully. Follow this on a slight decent through increasingly thick bush until you reach a steep drop off down into Tall Tree Canyon.More info >

Blue Mountains Cabins ::: Unique Accommodation Wollemi Wilderness

View over Wollemi Wilderness from Wollemi Cabin, Mountain Lagoon

Our Mountain Lagoon cabins have close access to a number of well defined lookouts, creeks and trails and are only a short drive away from the various attractions along Bells Line of Road.

T3 Track to Colo Gorge Lookout

Possibly the best and most easily accessible lookout over the Colo Gorge is near our Mountain Lagoon Cabins – infact our driveway entrance is on the same trail that heads to the lookout. Known locally as “The End of the Earth” More info >

Tootie Creek Firetrail

This trail begins just after the gravelled section begins on Mountain Lagoon Road. A grassy patch with a worn trail leads off on the left hand side and heads through the bush. Steep in sections but less strenuous than the descent into the Colo River on the T3 track. Beautiful swimming hole at the bottom.

Mountain Lagoon Firetrail

This 4WD/mountain-bike only track joins up with Comelory Road and provides access to the Upper Colo Valley and beautiful Wheeny Creek Picnic area. Following a ridge from Mountain Lagoon the track would make an excellent Mountain Bike Trail to the Junction with Comelory Road. More info >
